We Are Quixotte
We believe travel should feel like a story you live, not a list you complete.
Born from a simple frustration with rushed tourism and endless checklists, Quixotte exists for those who want to experience places deeply instead of just visiting them.
It began with one slow morning walk through the empty streets of Lisbon. While most tourists were still sleeping, the city showed its true face — soft light, fresh bread smells, and locals living their quiet routines. That single morning changed how we saw travel forever.
We realized that the most beautiful moments almost never happen at the famous spots at noon. They hide in the early hours, in forgotten alleys, on slow trains, and inside tiny cafés known only to locals. So we decided to create a place for travelers who feel the same.
We are not a traditional travel company. We are travelers, writers, photographers, and slow explorers who got tired of the “must-see” culture.
Our small team lives across different countries, but we all share one belief: the best journeys cannot be measured in attractions visited or photos taken. They are measured in feelings remembered.
We don’t chase perfection. We chase authenticity, atmosphere, and those rare moments when a place feels like it’s speaking directly to you.
We choose back streets over main squares
We prefer trains over planes when possible
We value silence and slowness as much as beauty
We believe getting lost is often the best way to find something real
We are not here to show you the world faster. We are here to help you experience it more fully.

Every story we tell, every place we recommend, and every detail we share comes from real experiences. We have walked those empty streets at dawn, sat in those hidden cafés for hours, and taken those slow trains with no strict schedule.
We promise to never fill our pages with crowded tourist traps or places that feel soulless. Instead, we focus on the quiet, the honest, and the timeless.
If you’re someone who travels to feel more connected — to places, to people, and to yourself — then welcome. You’ve found your kind of travel home.
We don’t want you to collect countries.
We want you to collect moments that stay with you forever.
Thank you for being part of this slower, more conscious way of exploring our beautiful world.
With curiosity and warmth,
The Quixotte Team
